Ordering from Baker & Taylor

Please have your Account Number, ISBN, Title, Author, Binding, and Quantity for each item requested.

Electronic Orders

Baker & Taylor provides electronic ordering services, and makes every effort to maintain interfaces with the acquisition modules of most major automation vendors. For more information call Technical Customer Service at (800) 775-3700. Electronic orders are accepted 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a week. Electronic order confirmations are available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday (EST).

Internet Orders

All customers may place orders by phone, fax, or email. Orders submitted electronically are subject to the same terms as phone or fax orders. Internet Orders


Any customer using modem connection and flashback® electronic ordering software must establish a new vendor for Ingram Publisher Services. Customers should use (800) 669-4149 for placing these orders. Ingram will accept orders from most of the inventory management and POS systems.

IPS Marketing Home Page and ipage Orders

Each Ingram Publisher Services client will have an IPS marketing home page through which eligible customers may place orders with client publishers. Customers may order any of these titles by placing items in the publisher’s cart. All of a client’s titles will be identified with the client’s Ingram Publisher Services’ logo on ipage. These orders will receive the publisher’s purchase discount.
