Jeff ClarkJeffrey Clark, Ph.D
Project Manager XAMonline Mathematics - Having earned a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Dr. Clark is now a full-time professional writer with a technical background involving a diverse group of areas including applied electromagnetics, digital image processing, computer programming, computer hardware and theoretical physics. His scholarly works have appeared in such publications as the International Journal of Microwave and Optical Technology and the Proceedings of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. Lead author - Her varied background includes a Doctorate in physics, engineering and IT software development experience, math tutoring, and parenting a child on the autistic spectrum. Her interests extend far beyond technical topics and include literature, history, psychology, and philosophy. Her work experience includes companies like B drive, Aquent , and Ford Motor Company where she served as a software developer, technical writer, and business analyst. She has extensive experience preparing software documentation, training and study materials (physics, math, and organizational development), and articles on scientific, technical, and general topics.

Leslie Evans, Master of Education
Adjunct Professor, Rollins College, Winter Park, FL. designed and delivered math for elementary teachers methods course. She also is President of Professional Ed Corporation, an editorial services company, specializing in K-6 education products. Five years as Mathematics editor for Harcourt Brace School Publishers, where she was responsible for analysis and integration of state mathematics curriculum frameworks to develop and edit elementary mathematics materials. Additionally twelve years she taught in Dade/Broward county public schools.

Susan Andres, Master of Education
Ms. Andres has a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Chicago. More than eight years as a middle school math teacher and 15 years of business experience make her uniquely qualified to create curriculum and test questions which correlate to testing standards for assessments like the SAT, AP, GMAT, LSAT, and teacher certification tests. Her exceptional knowledge of English grammar and mechanics makes her a valuable editor and proof reader. Ms. Andres has served as an author for XAMonline for such diverse subjects as mathematics, chemistry, general science, and general knowledge.

Linda FosterLinda Foster, Ph.D candidate Educational Psychology
Author of Art and Science of Teaching Mathematics 2008. Authored numerous XAMonline math guides at all levels. United States Naval Academy Annapolis was written by Linda Foster and published by Image Pub Co Ltd in June 2002. Ms. Foster is an accomplished author with almost a decade of professional experience in technical research, writing, and editing. She holds two advanced degrees and has considerable experience in research and writing in the fields of psychology and mathematics. She has grant-writing experience and is familiar with NIH and human-study protocols. Familiar with various style guides including CSE, APA, and MLA, she possesses a solid knowledge of English grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, diction, and related skills.

Andrew Knott
Valedictorian of his high school class and a National Merit Scholar, Andrew went on to obtain his Bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. His decision was initially between law and Molecular Biology and Microbiology, Andrew Knott used his scientific background as the foundation of his writing career. As a Research Analyst (Science Writer) for the University of Central Florida, he concentrated on writing and editing journal articles, reviews, grant proposals, and scientific manuscripts. He has had articles appear in several publications including ARS Forum Issue, NYAS Annals, and Trends in Neuroscience. His is also a Tennis Professional and is USPTA certified. This varied work and academic experience has served him well as an author, editor, and copywriter for numerous publications including teacher certification study guides in the sciences and physical education.
